“Jobs fill your pockets, but adventures fill your soul.” - Moonwalk
Initially, the game will launch with a pre-determined map. Containing a combination of terrains, buildings and destructible objects.
But don't get too used to it...
Our goal is to eventually incorporate a procedural map that will make each game unique, and you may never play the same map twice!
Read more about the Procedural Tile Set Map next!
Join the queue with a trusted Arena partner, or brave the queue solo and hope the Overlords pair you with a worthy Contender. Your team of two will be matched against another eager Duo, choose your skins and steady your breath for the fast-paced Duel ahead!
You will be teleported into the Arena equipped with nothing but a Pistol and your trusted Melee weapon. Venture into the map to find weapons that more suit your playstyle, and be on the lookout for the powerful Craft Drops to increase your chances of victory.
There will be a number of different Arenas, each varying in size and map spacing. Choose your weapons and position wisely to maximise efficiency.
We will implement several different game modes to keep you and your Duo partner on your toes. Each with different methods of victory, its not all about kills...
"It wasn't the opponents that were difficult, it was the fact that the map just kept changing after every match. Kept losing my sense of direction." - Reaver, "The Corpse Ghost"
🏗️ UNDER CONSTRUCTION 🏗️
"Here is your carrot and the end of the stick. No, it's not freedom." - Varu, The Warden
Players will always be rewarded account experience when completing matches. This is a global level attached to the users wallet acting as a progress tracker. Read more about Progression & Levelling.
Players with unmasked characters also have a chance at earning loot boxes, depending on performance.
Free-to-Play (Unmasked) characters will be unable to receive Loot Box rewards.
"Your victory must be earned, at all costs..." - Overseer XI
A maximum of 40 players are chosen by the Alien Overlords, who will be forced to fight to the death until only one remains. Once you find a lobby, you’ll have up to a one-minute warm-up period to free roam before being shuffled into the drop tubes. This is a great time to check the map and plan where you want to drop.
Once the match begins, you'll be flown across the map on a randomly generated trajectory. You can jump out at any time and descend to your desired location. Once you have landed, you will be able to scavenge for weapons and items. These items will spawn randomly, by type and location.
After 40 seconds, the zone — an enclosing laser wall designed to force combatants to engage — will begin to close in. Be careful! The lasers generate a field of extreme heat; anyone caught within will begin to take damage over time.
At a set time in the game, the Alien Overlords will look to provide the remaining players with advanced weaponry. Weaponry far above the likes of the typical sort you'd find in the arena that, in the right hands, could remove you from the face of the planet. But do be cautious, these powerful crate drops will attract much attention, and the overseers were keenly aware of this when making their addition.
Becoming a Champion is no easy feat. If a player wins a match whilst also acquiring the most kills, they will be designated as a Champion. The Champion will receive a reward boost for this accomplishment, but at the detriment of being marked by the overseers! You can best think of a marked champion as a bounty; anyone who can eliminate a Champion will receive a bonus.
The Overlords love to test your worth.
Eventually, we will integrate a variety of game modes. In the future, we will be releasing team-based alternative modes, like duos, trios, and quads; but other potential modes could be seasonal, new forms of competitive play, or just a twist on the standard Battle Royale genre!
"So many ways for you to die, shame I can only see each one at a time." - Varu, The Warden
Warfare One will contain a lot of traditional Battle Royale features that you may be familiar with, with our own twist!
Ultimately, our goal is to make a super fun game that is accessible to everyone and has a mixture of casual and competitive gameplay and game modes.
Solos - The traditional form of the tournament where combatants take the challenge alone. Showcase your skills and worth as an individual asset to the eager investors and Overseers. Duos - Fight in the arena with a partner who’s got your back. You're no longer competing on your own, but neither is the enemy. Trios - Push for victory as teams of three where coordination and planning are made all the more crucial. Quads - The Overseers wish to fully test your collaborative abilities; battle in the arena in squads of four where every lost team member is a substantial hit to your chances at survival.
Display your strengths and weaknesses for the entertainment of the Overseers as you face a variety of different challenges with and/or against other players.
Team Deathmatch - A simple mode but very beloved by the audience. Two teams battle each other to reach a score limit of X, where every enemy killed awards your team with X points.
Capture the Flag - One’s ability to kill isn't the only aspect tested here. Your target is the enemy flag; steal it and bring it to your own team's flag before the opposition can do the same.
More to come...
In the future we'll be adding additional game modes seen in the Arena Duels section.
For those dedicated and skilled players, we plan on having competitive leaderboards and tournaments!
"Are You Not Entertained?!" - Cardinal
Warfare One will feature a variety of weapons, with a mixture of Ground Loot, and powerful weapons that are only obtainable from Craft Drops!
Melee Weapons are usable by all players upon landing. Can't find a weapon? Just punch your opponent! Users will be able to equip their desired melee weapon skin prior to joining a game, they will all do the same amount of damage, but who doesn't want to kill someone with a Rubber Chicken?!
Pistol A common weapon found throughout the arena. Won’t guarantee your survival, but it's better than your fists.
Deagle A pistol that packs more of a punch than any ordinary model. Gonna have to be a good shot if you want to make the most out of this beauty.
Pump Action Shotgun Nothing is more satisfying than cocking the pump and hearing that cha-ching. Well, maybe winning is an exception. But if you have the skill, and this weapon, perhaps you can get the best of both worlds.
Double-Barreled Shotgun You got a problem over there? Point and shoot. Blam! Ain’t got a problem over there no more. And if there ever were problems near that general vicinity, those problems are gonna think twice.
MP40 A tool taken from the trenches of an old war. While you may be better off with a more modern design, this weapon once proved itself on the battlefield; maybe it can serve some use here.
PPSH A relic from the 40s, this old design still holds its own as a reliable tool to spray and pray.
AK47 An iconic weapon. With such a simplistic and durable design that saw it mass produced in the millions, it's no wonder you’d find some even here.
M16 Made for jungle warfare, this firearm was the standard issue choice for the US military at one point in time.
Hunting Rifle Not exactly going after your traditional game, are we? But if it’s good enough to blow a hole through a deer, it's good enough to blow a hole through a person.
Bow & Arrow Harness the skills of the ancestors, and defeat your opponent with mere sticks and stones. Or look like a fool when you can't even fire an arrow straight; honestly, that's probably most likely.
50. Cal Sniper With bullets so big you can wield them like pencils, you don’t want to miss your shot with this behemoth.
Flamethrower It’s hard to think about shooting back when you have your burning flesh to worry about.
Grenade Launcher Load, shoot, BOOM. Simple as that.
Minigun Not the quietest thing in the world, but it doesn't need to be when just the sound of its spinning barrels can ward off would-be adversaries on its own.
Laser Rifle A weapon plucked from the future; its pure destructive capabilities can make one nervous alone, even more so when they find out that it's just a prototype.
Frag Grenade Molotov Cocktail Sticky Grenade Thermite C4 Throwing Knife
Flash Grenade Stun Grenade Smoke Grenade Gas Grenade Stim
is the weapons and other items that will spawn on the ground in the game. Players will be able to equip, or add these to their inventory (up to a maximum of two weapons at a time).
are special packages that will be delivered to a random location on the map by the Alien Overlords, to make the battles more... "entertaining". These packages will contain the strongest weapons available that can give the holder an advantage over their competitors, and could be the difference between winning — or losing.
. Dangerous, usually explosive equipment that can inflict some serious damage, and if used correctly (with a bit of luck), could even wipe a whole squad.
is an important resource within the Arena. It can flip a fight in your favour or save you from certain death...
